Started Golden Retrievers
We understand that raising a puppy is a lot of work, so from time to time we like to start some puppies to place into homes with training!
These dogs have been trained, potentially earned some titles, and have usually gotten some of their health testing (prelims) started.
Price on our started dogs is usually 5000-7000 depending on age, health testing, and titles. We do work with co-own situations sometimes, which in that case would be a lower price!

Charlie is a sweet, easygoing 11mo dog with a lower-drive personality, but still good medium energy. She is about 50# now and will likely mature to about 60# in size. She's happiest spending time with her people and enjoys simply hanging out in the house and being part of the family. She's happy to participate in training, but she's just as content relaxing at home.
We have gone back and forth many times because there are a lot of things we really like about her. The only reason we're considering placing Charlie is that she doesn't have quite the level of drive we're looking for in our program. She would thrive as a companion in an active home that enjoys hikes, walks, and everyday adventures, or in a low-key sport home where training and competition are more about having fun. She has a steady temperament and affectionate nature, which would make her a great choice for someone looking for a reliable, well-mannered dog who is happy to fit into a variety of lifestyles.
Charlie has worked hard the last month and enjoys obedience (especially when she gets treats!). She knows sit, down, stay, loose leash heeling, sleeps in a crate, house/potty manners and is very social. She enjoys a short game of fetch, but is not obsessed with it, yet. She is playful with our other dogs!
Overall, Charlie is such an easy, enjoyable dog to live with that we're in absolutely no rush to find her a home. We're happy to wait for the right match where she'll be appreciated for exactly who she is.

*This will increase as we continue training and health testing. Charlie is genetically clear through parentage.*
We will require an application and then can do phone call interviews for Charlie. She is still available as of 07/08/2026.
